I live 10mins from Kirkstall Abbey and without question the best time to come if possible is at sunrise or sunset. The whole area turns magic, colours of the sky with the trees and Abbey = stunning! X

The Abbey is, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful sights in the city. A great attraction that is not only a wonderful history lesson but also a great spot for photographers and nature lovers.

I love visiting Kirkstall Abbey, it's a great place to walk around, learn about the history at the visitor centre. Also check out the Abbey House Museum. Fun for families.
