Amazing place and a more interesting story... especially how the house was saved... be sure to attend one of the 15 minute talks... I do agree it gives you a different perspective..

Beautiful with lots of history dates back to the 14th century. Take the introductory talk of the building. Gives a completely different perspective to the visit!

A beautiful house and gardens, particularly lovely to visit at Christmas as decorated. Great walks around the estate too.

Must see. The atmosphere is great. Don't mind the guides in each room, they're volunteers. The cafe is very cosy.
