Chateau de Miglos - castle at Miglos التي كتبها Sandrine Rouja
Arnaud de Miglos, lord of the place, was convinced of heresy (just like his daughter Brunissende) after the fall of Montségur. In his confession to the Inquisitors on 24 May 1244, he declared, among other things, that he believed in the word of the "Perfect Ones", some of whom had come to his castle at Miglos. All this made him to be locked up in the dungeons ("the wall") of the city of Carcassonne. He will be returned to freedom, by order given by Pope Innocent IV on December 24, 1248.
Convaincu d'hérésie pour avoir logé des cathares, le chatelain fut dépossédé de ses biens et emprisonné par l'Inquisition à la Cité de Carcassonne avant d'être relâché quatre années plus tard.
