Bridalveil Fall with the Nearby Towering Peaks of Cathedral Rocks (Yosemite National Park) التي كتبها thor_mark 

A zoomed in view from the banks along the Merced River with a view looking to the east across Yosemite Valley. What I wanted to capture with this setting wasn't just these towering peaks and roar of water from Bridalveil Fall, it was the details in the peaks. Groves of trees clumped here and there. Layers and striations on the exposed mountainside. Colors and structure and contrasts. For the image, I decided to focus on the peaks omitting much of the surrounding area. Where many of the images I'd captured that day were wide angle, sweeping and open, this one was zoomed in and focused to this one setting in Yosemite Valley.
